When will we win over the evil and oppressive forces. We they find out new ways to exploit us and we take time to know what they are up to till we act and finish those evil things. Everytime the people are different, their policies and strategies are different but their aim is the same: to earn as much money as they can almost always leading to oppression of a large majority of people who loses their dignity and basic needs to fulfill the desires of a handful of elite. The whole history of the civilized man is full of numerous instances of this devil. In the recent times, we fought against colonialism and succeed in defeating it. But not before millions were killed and a vast majority of earth’s population was stripped of their basic needs and right to a dignified life. Now we are fighting another enemy. It is the imperial force of the mighty United States. They also have changed and adopted different policies just to milk every nation in this world of whatever the resources it has. Firstly the excuse was fighting the Reds ( the communists ), then restoring democracy and now fighting terrorism. People know this is BULLSHIT but no one cares. I ask WHY?? WHY??
Why do these people do these things? I know you will say money. OK, but don’t they have regard for any of the human rights?? You will say ofcourse not. These are corporates who cannot afford to do that. Now I wonder, what else can I say. At the moment I can pray them to stop.
I start to wonder, can it be that some sections of population will always continue to live oppressed. Is our system so that this will the case whatsoever we do? I pray to God, to say to me that this is false and majority of people can live a dignified life.
My anger is increasing and so is of millions of others around the world. I am not sure, but something is going to happen.

We have so many problems in India. India is so poor. We think we are growing at a very fast pace, but that pace is not enough for millions who are still trapped in the clutches of poverty, hunger and disease. We need no wars. We need no spending on military. We need to stop spending on military and use the money for our people. We don’t need prestige. We shouldn’t think that Kashmir or any other part if given to other will cause our prestige to diminish. We require that our people are fed and clothed and they be given a decent standard of living. If we achieve that in future then we should think about our prestige. Our prestige and honor is in feeding our people. Do you think that when hundreds die of hunger and malnutrition and we spend all our resources on fighting Pakistan, we get honored among the nations. Will we be remembered as a great nation if we keep Kashmir under our control for 1000 years. No thats bullshit. We will be remembered as a great nation by our future generations if we are able to provide a decent standard of living to all the people and still we strive to improve lives of our citizens further. This is my request to everyone in this nation that please stop supporting government when it increases the military budget. Stop regarding Pakistan as our enemy. We have so many things in common with the people of that country. We are told to hate each other because it is in the interests of politicians to keep us fighting so that real issues are never addressed. A lot of people don’t regard Pakistan as enemy. A lot of well educated people consider Pakistanis as our friends. People of both countries can prosper if we forget our mutual difference, shed our egos and work towards a better, prosperous and peaceful subcontinent. People of Indian Subcontinent cannot afford to spend so much on military. We have much bigger needs.
Pakistan is in a very difficult situation at the moment. We should help it as much as we can at this stage. A good gesture at this stage can really reshape the public opinion. We must help Pakistan to over come the extremist forces that have taken control of their territories. This will not only help India to improve relations but this is also a requirement at this stage as the tensions in Pakistan can spill over into India. We have seen signs of this in the past few days when there were intelligence reports that Pakistani Taliban has started operating in PoK and a number of infiltrators have entered Indian territory during winters.
At the moment the situation may not appropriate due to increasing terror threats but we should have scaled down the number of forces on our western borders a bit 1-2 years ago when the level of tensions got less. This would help building confidence between India and Pakistan and would help Pakistan to focus on its western territories to fight the extremists.
India and Pakistan should resume the dialogue process and try to solve as many issues as possible by adopting a policy of compromise. We sometime get too stubborn and that is the reason that we don’t get to any solution.
Take as many confidence building measures as possible. India and Pakistan have scope of huge amount of trade due to our long shared border and close ports. We have similar demands of goods due to our shared culture and habits. India should take first step in this direction as India is a bigger country and has bigger economy which much ore stable. India needs to take radical steps like removing trade restrictions on all items (except ofcourse arms and related things).
We need to open as many trading routes as possible. This may pose security risk initially but as the time passes by people will gain trust and the situation will greatly improve. Trade helps a great deal in improving the relations by felicitating people to people contacts. Also trade brings prosperity to both the parties. Also if we get a volume of trade between our nations to increase to sufficient levels, then both India and Pakistan will not want to spoil the party as this will cause losses to both the nations.
We need people of both the nations to work towards improving the situation. People power has done wonders in the past. Recently we saw a great example of this when hundreds protested to restore Mr. Iftikhar Chaudhary. Also, if the concept of peaceful relations and brotherhood becomes the part of daily people’s life and if people start regarding Indians and Pakistanis as friends, any of the government will find it difficult to introduce policies which are against the interests of both of us.
Let peace and prosperity prevail and let us kill the demons of war, poverty and corruption instead of killing each other.

Sometimes I feel that a lot of US citizens know that a lot of wrong is going on their country. I feel that they are a lot of angry people who feel something needs to be done. I was listening to the songs of Rage Against The Machines (RATM), great songs, makes you feel something different. I but then I thought that this band has written such wonderful songs which make people to think. These songs make people to think, and then act. But I don’t see much change happening in US. The government is still continuing its policy of oppressing the small and weak nations, killing millions either directly or indirectly ( and it knows all the time that it is doing it, it is all done intentionally for various gains ), US companies are extracting money from our countries, wiping out out resources and dumping all the toxic wastes in our food and water. People know about this in US, some do care about us, some even want to do something about it, but only a few do something about it. It feels like these people who are so similar to us, who need food, water, air like us, who communicate like us, who cry and laugh like us don’t give a damn about us. And wait a minute, leave aside they caring about us, they are not even concerned about their own people in their own country. Hundreds of US soldiers are killed in wars on foreign lands, hundreds of families destroyed, hundreds of children orphaned, but do you care. Millions die of heart attacks and other diseases and government keeps spending on military instead of Medical Research. Thousands of jobs are lost because they are outsourced to other nations. Do you care. NO, YOU DON’T GIVE A DAMN. WHY?? ARE YOU FREAKS?
Yes, you are freaks. Please guys wake up if you are not, stand up if you are not, and please go on the streets and give these stupid politicians and industrialists and bankers a piece of your mind. Do it for us, do it for your countrymen, so it for your family and loved ones. Do it for yourself.

There is hope and there will always be hope. There will always be some good people around. I saw this great movie – Yeh hai Mumbai meri Jaan. Its a really great movie. I am truly inspired by it. There may be some bad people around, but there will always be good people in this world.

If you want to mount or unmount a remote SSH folder by just one click, follow these steps.
1.) First you have to
install the ’sshfs’ package. It is the filesystem for SSH. To do this type following in teminal.
sudo apt-get install sshfs
2.) Then make a folder where
you want to mount the remote folder. You can do this.
cd /mnt
sudo mkdir ssh
3.) Change the ownership of this folder to allow you to use this without root permission. Type this in terminal.
sudo chown [username] /mnt/ssh
4.) Now to mount the remote folder use this command.
sshfs [username]@[remote ip]:/[path of remote folder] /mnt/ssh
5.) To unmount use following command.
fusermount -u /media/ssh
To make one click buttons for this process do the following.
1.) Right click on a panel where to want to put the button.
2.) Select Custom Application Launcher and then click Add.
3.) Enter the above command to mount folder in the command text box.
4.) Do the similar thing for unmount.

I found solution on this page.
http://www.wains.be/index.php/2006/10/27/ubuntu-the-networkmanager-applet-could-not-find-some-required-resources-it-cannot-continue/
Solution:
sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor
DESCRIPTION
gtk-update-icon-cache creates mmap()able cache files for icon themes.
It expects to be given the path to a icon theme directory containing an
index.theme, e.g. /usr/share/icons/hicolor, and writes a
icon-theme.cache containing cached information about the icons in the
directory tree below the given directory.
GTK+ can use the cache files created by gtk-update-icon-cache to avoid
a lot of system call and disk seek overhead when the application
starts. Since the format of the cache files allows them to be mmap()ed
shared between multiple applications, the overall memory consumption is
reduced as well.

This is for my reference.
This method doesn’t seems to work for the 8.10 release.
This methord is for the closed source version of Virtual box. This was yested in ubuntu but it may work on other linux distros.
1.) Add youself to the vboxusers user group. To do this go to System >> Administration >> Users and Groups. Click on Manage Groups. Add yourself in that group.
2.) Type this in terminal.
sudo gedit /etc/init.d/mountdevsubfs.sh
Inside, you’ll see a block of code that looks like this
#
# Magic to make /proc/bus/usb work
#
#mkdir -p /dev/bus/usb/.usbfs
#domount usbfs “” /dev/bus/usb/.usbfs -obusmode=0700,devmode=0600,listmode=0644
#ln -s .usbfs/devices /dev/bus/usb/devices
#mount –rbind /dev/bus/usb /proc/bus/usb
Change it to look like this (uncomment out the region by deleting the “#’s”):
#
# Magic to make /proc/bus/usb work
#
mkdir -p /dev/bus/usb/.usbfs
domount usbfs “” /dev/bus/usb/.usbfs -obusmode=0700,devmode=0600,listmode=0644
ln -s .usbfs/devices /dev/bus/usb/devices
mount –rbind /dev/bus/usb /proc/bus/usb
Save the changes and exit. Now log out, and then log back in again for the changes to take place.
